Nestled within 10 acres of serene woodland along the Great Glen Way, the lodge was a perfect blend of coziness and function, complete with a lovely open-plan kitchen and a log-burning stove that added warmth to our evenings. We particularly relished the stunning views from our balcony, where sipping mulled wine while soaking in nature felt utterly rejuvenating. The area is a hiker's dream, with a variety of trails easily accessible right from our doorstep. It was also great to explore the charming village of Drumnadrochit nearby for local dining options. For anyone seeking a peaceful escape, infused with natural beauty and comfort, Ancarraig Lodges is definitely a place I'd recommend adding to your itinerary.
